Take Sling TV With You

Anywhere you can get the internet you can get Sling TV

Sling TV: Stream on many devices

TV Streaming: Anywhere you can get the internet you can get Sling TV

With the Sling App you can watch Sling on your Roku, laptop or desktop, tablet and smartphone. The only device you cannot get Sling on right now is The PlayStation video game console. This is because PlayStation offers their own TV streaming subscription service (I will be reviewing them soon too).

Sling TV is it right for you?

While cable brags about bringing you hundreds of different cable channels you should ask yourself, do you even watch all of them. Do you even watch half of them? On average a viewer only watches about a dozen or less of their favorite channels every week. So what are you really paying for?

SlingTV has the popular channels you would want

Even though with its most advanced package and add-on “Extras” you get about 50 to 60 channels. At least these channels are more focused on what you want and you are most likely to view them regularly.

Sling offers on demand content

In each channel Sling offers episodes that you can watch at anytime. You can also watch movies and programs they have on demand when it suits you.

Sports fan? SlingTV has you covered

Sports on Sling TV: Watch sports on any of your devices

Sport on Sling: Watch all kinds of sports with your Sling TV

With so many sports channels that Sling has added to their line up like: NFL Network, Fox Sports, NBC SN and more in their regular packages plus a sports package “Extra” add-on, you should be able to follow most of your sporting events with no problem.

No contracts and no commitments

One of the great things about SlingTV is that you can cancel at any time. So if you don’t like the service or find you can’t afford the service for a month or two you can shut the service off. Great for those on a limited budget.

An alternative to cable?

There are some drawbacks to Sling. It does not include local channels unless you are in select markets. With the Orange package you can only watch Sling on one device at a time. If you upgrade you can watch on up to three devices at a time though.

The streaming and delays problems

There are occasional delays and buffering, it happens if your internet speed isn’t fast enough. Since I started using the service it has gotten much better.

The menu could be improved

I do wish Sling would make a better channel menu. It’s alright but every time you want to change channels the current channel you are watching pauses and you can’t watch the it while you are selecting a new channel. Another problem I have with it is that if you aren’t pressing any buttons on the remote after a very short few seconds the menu disappears.  It becomes annoying when are trying to read the titles or make a decision. Yet it does work.

SlingTV Deals

For a limited time you can get a free Roku Express when you prepay for 2 months of service. Even if you find that Sling is not for you, you still get to keep the Roku Express. This is great if you have not purchased a Roku yet.

So don’t wait get SlingTV today!
